Junior's Motel...
Well, Deimos finished recording at Jr.'s Motel. When we first got there, the power had got knocked
out for a couple hours. That sucked because we ended up just sitting around in the cold and wait for the power to come
back on. When we finally got rolling things went pretty smoothly. James and Dustin were right, that place has
an awesome vibe about it and I'll have to keep it in mind next time I want to do some recording. We now have the rough
recording though and are going to be mixing and mastering at SR Audio in Des Moines in January. No date as of yet for
the final release, but I think it will be worth the wait.
Another Awesome Show...
I went to see the Bodom/Trivium/Amon Amarth show in Minneapolis recently. That was quite possibly
the best show I've ever seen. I was pleasantly surprised with Amon Amarth. Viking metal rules! Trivium
can suck my balls. As always, Children of Bodom owned the stage. They played all my favorites songs, as well as
had a solo-off between Alexi and Janne that was just insane. We stopped by a local cd shop beforehand where Bodom was
doing an instore signing. I, of course, could never pass up a chance to meet them. Janne Warman was feeling ill
at the time however, so he wasn't at the signing. That bummed me out a bit, seeing how he is my idol and everything.
Maybe I'll get another chance someday.

It's official...
Deimos has decided to welcome me into their little click as their full time front man. In fact we are scheduled to head into
the recording studio Nov. 25 & 26. We are going to be playing a show in Minneapolis this Friday (11/11/05), and we are
also playing at the Cattle Congress Pavilion on Nov. 19 with Eddie Buzzard, Archaic, and Dark Mirror. More updates to come...

Awesome show...
I didn't know what to expect when I went to see the Misfits (10/22/05) at Hairy Mairys. That was the
first time I've been to a show there that I wasn't playing in. They put on one hell of a show. Jerry Only is the
man, that's all I have to say.

Deimos At Hickory Hills...
Last Saturday, (10/8/05), I played with Deimos again, this time at Hickory Hills. I'm not sure exactly,
but I believe we ended up playing a little over three hours that night. My throat was pretty raw after that. We
got a pretty explosive response from those that showed up. It was probably the most fun I've had performing so far.
I would much rather have a few people go nuts at a show than play for a hundred people that are just standing there, kind
of nodding their heads. It reassures me that what I'm doing is not pointless. I have no idea, as of yet, if Deimos
wants to keep me on as their frontman, but I would probably have a hard time turning them down if they asked.
Deimos Rocks The Reverb
Last Saturday (10/1/05), Jake and I helped Deimos out by sitting in for Alex and Isaac at the Reverb in
Cedar Falls. That was my first time singing in front of an audience. It was pretty fun though, despite a few fuck-ups and
technical difficulties concerning the drum kit. There wasn't much of a turnout at the Reverb, but those that were there seemed
to get into it. We got quite an response to our version of Danzig's "Mother". Aparently I nailed that one. It seemes weird
to me. I never even considered the possibility of me singing before moving to Des Moines, but people seem to think I do pretty
good at it. I'm starting to feel a bit more confident in myself now. I owe it to Jake for kind of "discovering" me.
He pushed me to start singing after I showed him my Axle Rose impression while driving around in his car. I am also laying
down some new vocal tracks on Archaic's new demo which we are in the process of wrapping up. It's taking a little longer than
expected, but considering the way it sounds right now, it'll be worth the wait.

One year closer to death...
Just thought I should mention the fact that I recently turned 25 years old (8/9/05), for those of you who
care. It seems with every passing birthday, time keeps moving faster and faster. It makes me think of all the
time I've wasted doing nothing with my life. I hope to make up for that with Archaic. I want to thank those
of you who have supported us thus far. Also, thanks to all the hardcore sweet metal mutha fuckas moshing it
up at our shows! Your energy sustains us! Keep supporting local music!
